How'd you end up getting deployed to Africa? The ship down there? I thought it was still in dry dock. A girl that I work with here just left last friday to go on the Wasp. LoL. She was super excited.... i tried to be real with her about things, but she still remains positive. We'll see I guess. Sicily if awesome. Life in general is something like 300% better. Write me back. Good to hear from you! I missed you so bad after you left Norfolk- and the dry docks only made it worse.

I volunteered to come out here TAD with the USS Bainbridge as their female baby doc. It was only supposed to last six weeks, but after the american was taken hostage and we retrieved him, I ended up getting extended. I'm supposed to hit up the Kearsarge again sometime in late June- at which point they will recieve me early out paperwork.

This place is wonderful, nothing at all like the big deck/amphib. People are very cool, it's clean, food is wonderful, and I get to do my job. I think your girl might actually enjoy the WASP- small boys are where it's at. I was trying to get duty swapped to here, and our CO here was good with it- but the Queerbarge XO said no way.

What is Italy like??????? I'm glad you're doing better- that place was killing you.

That's awesome. You were on the bainbridge. That's really cool. So what's up with the FBI negotiators? I thought we didn't "negotiate with terrorists"? I guess since they're "pirates" it's okay. Whatever. Bet that was pretty exciting though. I've heard life on the small boy is better. All i know is i took it in the pooper while i was on the ship. (p.s. I picked up 2nd today). Try to hang in there when it comes to the retardedness of the kearsarge. Shit there is 67% fucking retarded, 20% plain retarded, 10% stupid and 7% okay. At least you're missing most of the yard period. Glad you're having a good time there though. Italy is fucking awesome!!!! it's like beaches meet ocean meet farm land meet awesomeness. I know that makes no sense, but it's awesome here. You might not recognize me. I'd be the happy guy here vice the fuck this shit guy back in norfolk. We're going to the west side of the island this weekend (got a 96) and chilling at a villa on the ocean front. Should be a good time. Hopefully you picked up second. Miss hearing from you.
